'Mesmerizing': Satellite Imagery Shows Bands of Lake Effect Snow Moving Across Northeast

Satellite imagery captured lake effect snow bands streaming across the northeast of the United States on Tuesday, November 28, as snow squalls impacted the region.

This imagery from the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) shows the “mesmerizing view” on Tuesday.
