The Met Office has shared exactly when 27C heat will hit Coventry as temperatures are set to soar. In stark contrast to last week, this week is going to be warm and sunny from tomorrow (June 25).

According to the latest Met Office report, temperatures are set to hit 27C. As well as UV levels being high, so is the pollen count set to be very high over the next 72 hours.

It is set to be a warm week but the mercury could start to fall a little towards the weekend. Temperatures could fall to around 20C on Friday but the sunshine will remain.

Today

Any early morning low cloud and mist will readily lift to leave a fine day with variable cloud and some very warm spells of sunshine. Pollen levels will be very high, with high UV levels too. Maximum temperature 26C.

Tonight

It will be a warm and dry evening with some late sunshine on offer. Clear periods are likely overnight, although some low cloud and mist is likely to reform later. Minimum temperature 14C.

Tuesday

Tuesday will be another mostly fine day across the region, with light winds and further spells of very warm sunshine developing after a grey and misty start in places. Maximum temperature 27C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

Wednesday should continue largely dry with very warm sunshine. A small chance of a shower. Rain likely moving through from the west later Thursday, introducing brighter, fresher weather for Friday.
