Mexican fast food chain Boojum to open in Nottingham later this year

Hit Mexican brand Boojum is bringing award-winning burritos to Nottingham. A 42-seater restaurant will be opening in Lower Parliament Street.

As well as burritos, the eatery will be serving fajitas, tacos, quesadillas, salads and burrito bowls. And it wouldn't be complete without nachos and churros.

After the runaway success story of opening 15 stores, predominantly located in Belfast and Dublin, since 2007, the brand has now moved over to the UK mainland. Having recently opened a restaurant in Leeds, the vision is to expand to 25 sites in major student cities.

As well as eating in, Boojum will offer takeaway, click ‘n’ collect and delivery when it opens in the autumn, promising "wholesome, fresh, and tasty food".

“We’ve seen other brands try to expand and not build out the necessary supply chain solutions to deliver the optimum experience. This often results in out-of-stock days or food sitting on shelves longer for the consumer, neither are ideal.

"Our investment is aimed at delivering the freshest, highest quality Mexican product in the market.” said Robert Powell, head of operations for Boojum.
