Mexico will not pay for a border wall, Pena Nieto told Trump

Mexico City (AFP) - Mexico will not pay for any border wall built by the United States, President Enrique Pena Nieto told visiting US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday.

"At the start of the conversation with Donald Trump I made it clear that Mexico will not pay for the wall," Pena Nieto wrote on Twitter, in reference to a border wall that Trump has vowed to build if elected US president.
