Mexico's Popocatepetl Volcano Erupts Twice, Sending Lava Into Sky

Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano erupted on May 10, with authorities cautioning residents to keep their distance from the site.

Footage captured by a fixed camera in San Nicolas de los Ranchos, Mexico, shows the moment the eruption occurred at 1:52 am. The National Civil and Protection Service confirmed the volcano erupted a second time at 3:16 am.
