Michael Buble's son Noah back home after 'miracle' cancer fight

Michael Buble's wife has said the couple's three-year-old son is "recovering well" after receiving treatment for cancer.

Luisana Lopilato said the pair had returned to their home in Argentina with son Noah and are "very happy" after praying for a "miracle from God".

"Thank God my son is well," she told reporters on Tuesday.

"When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes. It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today," she added.

Noah was diagnosed with cancer in November last year , and the couple both put their careers "on hold" while Noah was undergoing treatment in the US.

Buble said at the time he was "devastated" and asked for privacy.

But in February the singer said he was "optimistic" because treatment was "progressing" and that the couple were inspired by their son's courage.

Lopilato said on Tuesday: "My son's recovery is a long process and he has to continue with check-ups. But we are very happy. We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow."

Buble and Lopilato, an Argentine model and actress, got married in 2011 and welcomed Noah in August 2013.

The couple have another son, nine-month-old Elias.

"My faith that God had a miracle for us helped me. I became strong so my son would get better. I transmitted that to all my friends and family," said Lopilato.

"We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow."
