It’s now emerged that three-year-old Noah has started treatment for the disease, with Argentinean press reporting that the toddler is undergoing treatment to shrink the tumour which is due to last until the end of the year.

Michael and his Argentine wife Luisana Lopilato confirmed the devastating news in statement back in November.

Press claim that Noah’s doctors are now using chemotherapy in the hope that his tumour will be small enough to operate on, with surgery scheduled to take place in late December.

Surgeons will perform a biopsy before the operation and may continue to give Noah chemotherapy if the cancer is still present.

Family friend David Foster has revealed that 41-year-old Michael won’t sing again until his son has made a full recovery. Doctors have given Noah a 90% chance of survival.

“[He] will not sing again until his child is well. I’m certain of it,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

“He’s in good shape. He’s got good doctors around him.

“We will hope and pray for a good outcome, which I believe that they will have.”

Michael was forced to pull out of next week’s BBC Music Awards, but is till scheduled to host the Brit Awards in London on Feburary 22nd.

Let’s hope Noah’s fully recovered by then and the crooner is able to attend.
