Yahoo News Michael Scofield wages war in new Prison Break trailer
Guys, GUYS! In case you didn't know, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is ALIVE in Prison Break's much-anticipated revival... but he's still behind bars.
In the latest promo, which premiered during Fox's Super Bowl programming, viewers see the moment when Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) tells their son that his father was "like a storm" that can come back – while also offering a glimpse at Lincoln's elaborate plan to break his brother out of prison AGAIN.
The first Prison Break clip, which aired in August last year, showed some behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the cast and executive producer Dawn Olmstead.
Olmstead said: "All the people you loved from the original Prison Break play a significant role in helping Michael [escape]", while Dominic Purcell (Lincoln) added that the revival "is going to be better than the original".
And Wentworth himself is already planning for more Prison Break in the future.
"The reboot is nine new episodes airing in spring 2017, and then depending on how it's received, and who's available, there could be another conversation about another bite of the apple," he recently told Digital Spy. "We'll see."
Prison Break will return to Fox on April 4, airing on Tuesday nights at 9/8c, but there has been no news yet on a UK broadcaster or air date.
