Michaela Jaé Rodriguez has that glow.

On Wednesday, the 30-year-old Pose star shared a makeup-free selfie as she kicked back on her couch with her hair pulled back. In the caption, Rodriguez admitted that she has struggled with self-love in the past, but has come a long way.

"I used to be so scared to show this face, without hair to hide behind, because I was afraid of how people of the world would receive me," the actress, who is the first trans woman to be nominated for an Emmy in a major acting category, wrote. "No more. Now both with or without will be my superpower... "

Celebrity friends and fans praised the star for her stunning photo and her transparency.

"You are beautiful with or without extra hair," Tina Lawson wrote.

"Love my sis and her gorgeous forehead!!!" Cynthia Erivo said.

"Love you and miss you," SZA commented.

"Stunning human always," a fan added.

The Pose star is certainly a force to be reckoned with and is regularly acknowledged for her accomplishments as a trans woman of color in Hollywood. In an interview with Refinery 29 in September, Rodriguez described herself as a "strong Black woman, a strong Afro-Latina woman" and announced that she was ready for the world to call her Michaela Jaé instead of Mj, as she has previously been known.

“I just pray that, at a certain point, people get to see the human being,” Rodriguez said. “That people get to see the person who is all types of intersectionalities — Black, Latina, trans, a woman, all things encompassed in one — and not use it as a logline or a subtext title where it's like, ‘This is what she is and look at what she's done because she is trans.’”
