Michelle Keegan shares her support for Winter Love Island star as second connection to ITV series is revealed

Michelle Keegan has showed her support for Winter Love Island contestant Lana Jenkins ahead of her stint in South Africa.

The 35-year-old actress wished the Luton native the best of luck on her Instagram Story alongside Jenkin’s official Love Island contestant photo.

She penned: “So our girl is going into Love Island. Genuinely one of the nicest girls you’ll ever meet.

“Go and smash it darlin”.

Before heading into the Villa, 25-year-old Jenkins admitted to “falling in love quickly” and revealed she has previously told people she loves them within a week.

She said: “I tend to know quite soon if I could fall in love with that person and then, as long as everything is going well, I’ll probably tell them I love them in about a week.”

The make-up artist isn’t the only Islander Keegan has met before as her former body double, Olivia Hawkins, is also travelling to South Africa to vie for a shot at love.

The 27-year-old has been a body double not only for the former Corrie star, but also Emma Watson and has also worked as a ring girl for KSI.

The Brighton-based Islander has also played a waitress in a James Bond film opposite Daniel Craig and appeared in a movie alongside Jason Statham.

Speaking before entering the villa, Hawkins reflected on the experience and shared: “I did a film with Jason Statham and had a nice 10-minute convo about life.”

Not only that but she’s also appeared in music videos for Craig David and DJ Tom Zanetti, and has danced at Wembley with Charli XCX.

Ahead of her stint on the ITV2 series, the hopeful said: “I’ll bring fun, vibes, I’m a very confident, bubbly person…. maybe a little bit of drama.”

She also said that she’s “ready to settle down” after never having been in a relationship, explaining that she now wants to find the love of her life.
