Sinn Fein's Cathal Mallaghan has been declared the new MP for Mid Ulster with 24,085 votes.

A large and very rural constituency, new boundary changes mean that the electorate decreased by around 400 voters. The 2023 Review of Parliamentary Constituencies means that Pomeroy is no longer in this constituency, having moved into West Tyrone while a number of other wards have moved to Fermanagh & South Tyrone and Upper Bann.

The eligible electorate in 2024 was 74,000, with 45,691 votes polled, a 61.75% turnout.
