Middlesbrough unveil new home shirt with key element back for 2024-25 season

Middlesbrough have unveiled their home kit for the new season, with the iconic white chest band returning for the 2024-25 season.

The third home kit produced since the renewed partnership with Errea, last season's home kit saw the traditional solid white band across the chest replaced by two white lines within which sponsor Unibet sat. But back by popular demand, a solid white band runs right across the chest and onto the sleeves of the new kit.

Modelled on the club site by new signings Delano Burgzorg and Luke Ayling, Player of the Year Rav van den Berg, as well as academy graduates Josh Coburn, Hayden Hackney and Isaiah Jones, Boro also called in prominent supporters and BBC Radio Tees host Gary Philipson to take part in the launch.

Available for pre-order now ahead of its release on Saturday (July 6), the shirt also has a white round-neck collar as well as white sleeve trim. Unibet remains as principal sponsor on the front of shirt, while Host & Stay's logo is on the lower back. BOXT continue as sleeve and short partner. Host & Stay also appears on the front of U21 and U18 team shirts as well as junior replica shirts.

The Women's shirt was launched at the same time as the men's and is the same but for the sponsor. Durata remains front-of-shirt partner with Imperial Recruitment on the reverse. Straightline are the team’s new sleeve partner.

There was also a first glimpse of the new goalkeeper top for the upcoming season, which is mainly light blue with darker blue and yellow trim. The goalkeeper top was briefly spotted in the initial promo video, modelled by Women's keeper Ruby Cook.

Priced at £55 for adults and £45 for juniors and mini kits, supporters can pre-order the shirts on the club website right away until 5 pm on Thursday. Postal pre-orders will be dispatched on Friday, July 5. Click & Collect pre-orders will be available to collect from Saturday, July 6 onwards. Customers are being advised to wait for their second confirmation email before collecting from the West Stand concourse adjacent to the retail store (exit doors 13 & 14) at the Riverside Stadium.
