A man needed hospital treatment after being attacked with a cricket bat in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police are looking for witnesses after the 28-year-old was attacked at around midnight on May 19 in Swain House Road. Detectives say that while it is thought just one person was weilding the bat, there could have been other people present.

A police spokesman said: "It’s believed he was assaulted with a cricket bat by one suspect but it’s believed there may have been more people there. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or who was in the area at the time."
