Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando are going strong.
On Monday, June 10, the "Flowers" singer and her drummer boyfriend stepped out for a date night in West Hollywood — and a source tells PEOPLE that the couple appeared to be in great spirits.
"Max and Miley were on a date night eating sushi at Jinpachi in West Hollywood and were really cute. They seem happy together," an onlooker says.
The insider adds, "They were also friendly with everyone around them, talking to strangers about how good the food was and how it's one of their fave spots. She's just cool all around."
In February, a source told PEOPLE that the couple is living together and Miley, 31, is "very happy with him."

“Miley has changed a lot in the past couple of years. She seems more calm and harmonious. Everyone loves Maxx," the source added. "He’s a great guy. She is very happy with him. He’s private and doesn’t like being in the press. It’s been good for her.”
The pop star and Morando were first linked in 2021 when they were photographed holding hands backstage and dancing to music at her NBC special, Miley’s New Year's Eve Party.
Since then, public sightings have been minimal — though she gave him a sweet shoutout as she took home record of the year for "Flowers" at the 66th annual Grammy Awards in February.
That same month her mom, Tish Cyrus, told PEOPLE she's a big fan of their relationship.
"He's cute," she said at the time, adding that she's never seen her daughter happier: "I think it shows just by looking at Miley, her face and her smile at the Grammys and just everything about her that she's in an amazing place."
She continued with a laugh, "Miley is just so fulfilled in her life, and that everything's working out perfectly. That's all I'll say about Maxx!"
Morando also contributed to her 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation, scoring writing and production credits on the tracks "Handstand" and "Violet Chemistry."
Meanwhile, on June 7, Miley's dad Billy Ray Cyrus posted a throwback photo of him and Miley on Instagram and recalled some of their "best memories" at CMA Fest.
“One of my best memories ever: @cma Fest, back when it was Fan Fair. That's @mileycyrus and me, surrounded by thousands of incredible fans at the fairgrounds,” wrote Billy Ray, whose divorce filing came to light on June 11.
“The next day, someone handed me this picture, and I wrote that poem right then on the bus,” he continued in the post, soundtracked to Miley’s “Flowers” hit, before giving her some praise. “I’m incredibly proud of her. She's a survivor and a true artist. She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible.”
The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer added of the father-daughter duo, “We both cherish the connection we have with our fans and are grateful for every single one of you! Hope you all have a great Friday! Now rock the country!!!”
