Military Aircraft Damaged While Landing at El Salvador's International Airport

Clean up crews cleared debris from the runway at El Salvador’s international airport after a military aircraft was damaged while landing on Sunday, May 7, authorities said.

Footage released by the country’s Autonomous Port Executive Commission (CEPA) shows airport firefighters at work on the tarmac.

Separate footage circulating online and published by El Salvadoran media captured the fiery landing.
