Military Vehicle Pulls Buses From Flooded Underpass After Deadly Flooding

An armored vehicle was used to pull two buses out from a flooded underpass in Sanliurfa, Turkey, after torrential rain caused deadly flooding in areas hit by February’s devastating earthquakes.

Video posted to Twitter by the Turkish Ministry of Defense shows the operation, involving a vehicle described as from the 20th Armored Brigade Command. The ministry said the buses were stuck at the Abide Koprulu Junction, from which several bodies were pulled, Daily Sabah said.

Local media reported at least 14 people died in the flooding.
