Visitors showed their support for the armed forces, as the county prepares to celebrate Armed Forces Day on Saturday (June 29).

A day of free family activities took place in Woodstock with military attractions and Second World War vehicles on display in the town's Market Square.

Activities ran throughout the day for all ages, including making Horsa Gliders.

There was also a performance from The Waterloo Band and Bugles of the Rifles.

The event included free admission to visit the museum’s brand-new exhibition, the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum’s 10-year anniversary showcase.

The exhibition celebrates all those who have contributed to setting up the first military museum in the county.

Free admission is available to see the 10-year showcase during Armed Forces Week from June 22 until Saturday June 29.
