Mime stirs controversy on This Morning after swearing

Viewers watching This Morning today were left rather baffled by a mime act appearing on the show after he appeared to swear live on air.

New Zealand-born comic Tape Face joined Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford for a performance on air – and things soon descended into weirdness.

At one point, he even got Eamonn to take part, dressing his torso in tape before turning it into a singing face, complete with an envelope for a mouth.

However, a part of the act saw him dance with a pretend woman – which was half of his body.

At one point, he looked at another woman, leading his female half to give the V sign to the unseen 'woman'. Tape Face also pretend groped his partner's bottom and also appeared to take off her bra.

Many viewers were not impressed with the act, especially as it was on daytime TV:

Tape Face was formally known as The Boy With Tape On His Face, and became more widely known on last year's series of America's Got Talent, where he reached the Top 10.
