New CCTV images show missing teenager Gaia Pope only an hour before she disappeared a week ago.

The images, released by Dorset Police, show Gaia purchasing an ice cream at St Michael’s Garage in Swanage after stopping off for fuel with a family member on the afternoon of November 7.

The photos come only an hour before the last confirmed sighting of the teenager at an address in Manor Gardens on Morrison Road in Swanage at about 4pm.

Gaia, who suffers from PTSD and Epilepsy, disappeared after visiting the home of her friend’s grandmother in a ‘distressed state’.

The 19-year-old reportedly began to take off her clothes at the home of Rosemary Dinch, telling the 71-year-old: ‘I’m too hot.’

Dinch and grandson Nathan Elsey, a friend of Gaia’s, were later arrested on suspicion of murder. Both have since been released from police custody.

Greg Elsey, 69, recalled Rosemary’s account of the incident to The Sun.

He said: ‘Gaia went in and stripped off the top half of her clothes down to her bra.

‘Rosemary was really concerned and managed to persuade her to put her clothes back on, but she left without her coat.

‘She said she needed to go and find one of her old school friends.’

Gaia went missing on November 7, with Rosemary’s neighbours claiming to have heard an ‘altercation’ on the day of her disappearance.

Dorset Police have now revealed they believe Gaia has “come to harm”.

Detective Superintendent Paul Kessell said: ‘A major concern is the medication she really needs to have. If she gets in touch we can get the medication to her and make sure she is safe.’
