Missing man last seen at New Forest pub sparks police appeal

A 69-YEAR-OLD man last seen at a New Forest pub has gone missing.

Police have issued an appeal to find John Canning after becoming concerned for his welfare.

Mr Canning, from Calmore, was last seen at The Six Bells pub in Lymington at 2.15pm on April 23.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone who has seen him to please contact police."

Mr Canning is described as white, around 5ft 9in tall, with long grey hair. He has an Irish accent.

He has links to Lymington and the New Forest area.

If anyone has any information regarding his whereabouts, call 999 quoting reference 44240170074.
