Having Rihanna step out in one of your creations is any up-and-coming fashion designer's dream. For Molly Goddard, this dream is a reality. A double reality in fact.

Rihanna first wore one of Goddard's tulle-tastic show stoppers in May 2016 - a lime green, sleeved tutu style dress, a design that has become synonymous with Goddard's eponymous label - before stepping out earlier this week in a purple strapless number cementing Goaddard's status as couturier to the stars.

It is incredibly rare that a designer manages to secure a celebrity clothes horse with an influence as big as Rihanna's - she boasts a staggering 56 million Instagram followers - whilst maintaining that niche, edgy flare.

One of Goddard's major stockists is Dover Street Market, a store known for getting behind only the coolest, most fashion-forward designers London has to offer.

Serious fashion designers who've graduated from art schools like Goddard - a Central Saint Martins graduate - have been known to target a very specific audience. Goddard's appeal has gone beyond the boundaries of high fashion.

An early collaboration with e-commerce giant ASOS back in 2013 meant that anyone could get their hands on a piece of Molly, with prices starting at £120 - a fraction of the price of her tulle party frocks you can find on farfetch.com.

Fans of the brand range from TV presenter and DJ Fearne Cotton to model of the moment Adwoa Aboah and street style star and Fashion Editor-extraordinaire Giovanna Battaglia-Engelbert.

Model-turned-actress Agyness Deyn even wore one of Goddard's creations on her wedding day last year.
