Molly-Mae Hague has admitted she still gets tearful when she thinks about the time she accidentally gave her £2,000 coat to charity, saying: “Big mistake.”

The former Love Island star said on her YouTube video: “That coat was my dream coat. I spent an absolute fortune on it. I think that coat was around £2,000 or something insane.”

Sadly, Hague reflected the coat was a "massive treat" and a "massive splurge" for her so she was gutted when she couldn't find it among her things.

Now having found a double of her fluffy Max Mara Teddy Bear coat, the social media influencer was reminded of the time she later accidentally gave her "dream" coat away.

Hague proudly showed off her latest buy with her legion of fans on YouTube. It was a teddy bear cream coat made with fluffy material and tortoise shell buttons from Primark.

She said: “This is a massive dupe from a coat I once owned from a brand called Max Mara.”

Instead of around £2,000, the Primark coat only set her back £40 which Hague was delighted with.

However, it got her thinking back to her other coat - which she had in a caramel colour - and she was left in tears.

The designer coat went missing from her incredible wardrobe after she had a huge sort out last year.

She continued: “'I have never spent that kind of money on a coat. It was a massive splurge. It was a massive treat.

“I was having a huge sort out about a year ago and I think the Max Mara ended up in the wrong pile in a bin bag and ended up at a charity shop nearby.’

“So, someone is walking around with my Max Mara coat on now that they probably got for about, I don’t know, if the charity shop knew what they were selling then they probably did sell it for quite a good price, which I’m happy about because at least it went to charity, but big mistake.

“I never really got over it, I still shed a tear when I think about it late at night.”

This was one story among her Primark shopping haul on her latest YouTube vlog.
