Moment house explodes with firefighters that were battling blaze still inside

Body-worn video shows the moment a New Jersey house explodes with firefighters who were extinguishing a blaze still inside the building.

Emergency responders from the Pompton Lakes Volunteer Fire Department were working to put out a fire at the home on Ramapo Avenue on 14 January when a huge fireball blew out the windows of the home, scattering burning debris across the lawn.

Six firefighters were inside at the time of the blast.

Protective gear shielded the firefighters, who sustained limited burns.

The cause of the fire has not been established.
