Moment 'Jurgen's song' echoes around Anfield as thousands chant for Klopp

Thousands of Liverpool fans erupted into a chorus of "Jurgen's song" at Anfield stadium on Sunday minutes before the whistle was blown on his final game as the Reds' manager.

Liverpool took a 2-0 victory over Wolves in their last game under Klopp, with goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Jarell Quansah, and it was an emotional afternoon as thousands of fans said a final farewell. Reds of all ages turned up in Klopp tops, with scarves, banners, and even cut-out masks of the departing LFC boss' face.

During his nine years with the club he has won seven trophies - including a sixth European Cup and ending a 30-year wait to win the Premier League.

Klopp himself began to cry as the game neared its end, and his wife Ulla Sandrock could be seen wiping tears from her eyes too.

Just before the game wound to its end, chants of Jurgen's song, to the tune of I Feel Fine by the Beatles, could be heard reverberating from every corner of Anfield.

The chant goes: "Jurgen said to me, you know. We'll win the Premier League, you know. He said so.

"I'm in love with him and I feel fine. I'm so glad that Jurgen is a Red. I'm so glad he delivered what he said."
