'Rare' Moose Trudges Through Deep New Mexico Snow

A moose was filmed slowly trudging through deep snow at the Ski Santa Fe resort in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on January 7.

Video captured by Justin Rogers shows a moose walk out from a line of trees with great difficulty as it keeps sinking back into the deep snow. The moose slowly walks across the ski run.

Rogers said he had never seen a moose before as they were a rare sight in New Mexico, and was glad that the animal was not aggressive. Credit: Justin Rogers via Storyful
