More than 100 kids take part in Annan Riding of the Marches Inter School Football Competition

Galabank hosted the Annan Riding of The Marches annual Inter School Football Competition which attracted 110 pupils.

Winners of the big school contest were Newington A, while the team from Kirkpatrick Fleming/Springfield won the small schools competition.

"A spokesperson for Annan ROM said: “A huge well done to all children who took part. Thanks go to Matthew Rogerson for organising, along with his team of helpers for having it all run so smoothly.

"Also to Shannen at Tesco’s Annan 6052 in the Community for supplying the water to keep our footballers hydrated.”
