More Than 18.8 Million Watched Donald Trump Hush Money Trial Verdict; Fox News Topped Coverage, MSNBC Led In Primetime

More than 18.8 million watched across six networks as a jury announced its guilty verdict against Donald Trump on all 34 felony counts in his hush money trial.

The complete numbers, released this morning, showed that Fox News topped networks with an average of 4.38 million viewers in the 4:45 p.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET time frame on Thursday. MSNBC averaged 3.54 million and CNN posted 2.4 million.

Among broadcasters, who broke into regular programming with special reports, ABC News topped with an average of 3.47 million, followed by NBC News with 2.53 million and CBS News with 2.5 million.

In the 25-54 demo, Fox News averaged 610,000, followed by ABC News with 576,000, CNN with 541,000, NBC News with 473,000, CBS News with 469,000 and MSNBC with 450,000.

In primetime on Thursday evening, as all of the news networks devoted their coverage to the verdict, MSNBC topped with an average of 3.4 million, followed by Fox News with 3.1 million and CNN with 1.26 million.

In the 25-54 demo, MSNBC averaged 417,000, followed by Fox News with 378,000 and CNN with 255,000.
