Morgan Rogers has an outside chance of making the Aston Villa squad to face Crystal Palace on Sunday. Villa head to Selhurst Park on the final day of the season, but their place in the top four could already be confirmed by then. If Tottenham fail to beat Manchester City this evening, it will be mathematically impossible for them to catch Villa.

Unai Emery's side staged a dramatic comeback against Liverpool on Monday night to claim a significant point in the race for Champions League football. Villa fell 3-1 behind shortly after half-time when Jarell Quansah scored a third for the visitors, before Jhon Duran came off the bench and bagged a brace in front of the Holte End to restore parity late on.

Emery welcomed Youri Tielemans back from injury, starting the Belgian and giving him roughly an hour. But Matty Cash picked up a calf injury on Sunday in training and missed Monday's game, while Nicolo Zaniolo came off injured only minutes after coming on.

"Yesterday was Cash and at the beginning of the season we had Mings and Buendia, Jacob Ramsey too," Emery said after the game. "We have players to be ready to help. Nicolo is hopefully not a lot because he has the Euros as well, which is very important for him."

Asked about Rogers, Emery said: "Today was impossible for him to be available. Maybe for Sunday with some days to come he can try to be available, but I don’t know exactly."
