Morning Live's Sara Davies shares rare glimpse into life with husband in 'cute' post

BBC Morning Live presenter and Dragons' Den favourite Sara Davies has given a rare glimpse into life with her husband Simon Davies. The couple, who met as teenagers, married in 2007 and share two children but mostly keep their family life out of the limelight.

However, in a post marking National Couple's Day, Sara shared a sweet tribute to her husband and posted a string of snaps of them throughout the years, including a throwback to their younger days with her 408k Instagram followers. She told her fans: "Did you know it's National Couples Day!?!"

She continued: "Here's to 25 years of being a couple of numpties with this one! Love you to the moon and back sweetheart!" Sara concluded the message with a string of hashtags including hubby and hubby love.

Fans were quick to comment on the "super cute," post as one wrote: "Ah congratulations! We’ve just celebrated 31 years as a couple," while another added: "Lovely pictures. Here’s to another 25 years for you both."

A third commented: "Congratulations to you both. 25 years! Wow," and another said: "How young and cute do you both look." Others pointed out that National Couple's Day actually falls on August 18, as one wrote: "Don’t want to burst your bubble. National Couples Day is on 18th August. I googled it. But congratulations anyway."

It comes after Sara recently asked her fans for help as filming for season six of Dragons' Den geared up. Posting to her Instagram Sara said: "So I can't believe it's come around this quickly but we start filming the next series of the den in just a couple of weeks! That will be my 6th series and I'm in that stressful period of needing to find an outfit!!!"
