The Morning Show Casts Marion Cotillard as a ‘Savvy Operator’ in Season 4

The Morning Show is bringing another power player into Alex and Bradley’s orbit.

Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose) is joining the Apple TV+ series for Season 4, TVLine has learned. She will play Celine Dumont, who is described as “a savvy operator from a storied European family.”

In addition to her Oscar-winning turn as Edith Piaf in 2007’s La Vie En Rose, Cotillard’s resume includes episodes of Extrapolations and Highlander as well as the feature films Inception, Rust and Bone, Contagion and The Dark Knight Rises.

The Morning Show‘s Season 4 renewal came in April 2023. Season 3, which aired September through November of 2023, found Elon Musk-like tech giant Paul Marks (played by Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm) poised to buy the financially struggling UBA network. He and Jennifer Aniston’s Alex dated over the course of the season, but she eventually broke up with him after learning that his business practices — such as spying on UBA employees — were not above board. Then, she pitched a potential partnership between UBA and its longtime rival network, NBN.

Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon’s Bradley and Billy Crudup’s Cory kept the secret of her brother Hal’s involvement in the Jan. 6 attack on Capitol Hill, but the season ended with Bradley (and Hal) turning themselves in to the FBI.

In addition to Witherspoon, Aniston, Crudup and Hamm, The Morning Show cast includes Julianna Margulies, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee and Nicole Beharie.
