This Morning star Alison Hammond has made a surprise appearance in Stormzy's new music video.

The rapper has teased his new track 'Toxic Trait' featuring Fredo on social media, giving fans a sneak peek ahead of release.

In the teaser, Fredo sits down with Hammond for what looks like a therapy session.

"I want you to tell me what your toxic traits are," the presenter asks Fredo in a resolute tone.

"Listen, I just got too many, I don't even know where to start," he replies.

After Hammond suggests to "start at the beginning," the rapper proceeds to enumerate the ways he feels he doesn't make things easier on himself. These include the revelation he doesn't use a toenail clipper, which shocks the host-turned-therapist as she's taking notes.

It isn't clear whether Hammond will appear in the video past this short prologue, but it won't be long till we find out as the video premieres at 8.45pm tonight (June 22).

This isn't the first time the presenter has had a brush with the rap world. In 2017, she performed Missy Elliot's 'Get Ur Freak On' for Comic Relief Red Nose Day, earning the vote of the judges.

Recently, Hammond was at the centre of a delicate moment for ITV's This Morning, seeing the end of Philip Schofield's hosting duties following his admission to having had a relationship with a younger colleague.

Hammond, together with replacement co-host Dermot O'Leary, took the reins of the show during the transition while Schofield's co-host Holly Willoughby was on half-term break.

Following Schofield's interview with the BBC about the circumstances surrounding his exit, Hammond said: "I'm just finding it really painful because obviously, I loved Phillip Schofield. It's weird because I still love Phillip Schofield. However, what he's done is wrong. He's admitted it. He's said sorry. But, as a family, we are all really struggling to process everything and I never know what to say."

This Morning airs on weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
