This Morning fans are happy after Josie Gibson shared some "really good news" on Friday.

As viewers will know, Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard front the show Monday to Thursday, while Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary present the final episode of the week. But the latest instalment saw Alison joined by Josie.

It's not the first time Josie has hosted ITV's flagship daytime programme, as she was drafted in at the last minute to cover for a sick Holly Willoughby back in 2022. Then when Phillip Schofield left the show last year, Josie hosted alongside Holly for a spell.

The 38-year-old continued to front This Morning on a rotational basis, along with other members of the "This Morning family", when Holly later quit the show. But in March, ITV bosses confirmed Cat and Ben would be taking over the roles permanently.

On Friday she and Alison were joined by regular guests Gyles Brandreth and Tom Swarbrick to discuss some of the topics of the day. Josie said: "I've got some really good news for all the ladies out there. I'm not to sure about the data on this but...

"British penis sizes have grown by almost 10% in just two years, a global study has found." Josie's face turned red as she then added: "I get really blushy when I talk about things like this" [sic].

A clip of the conversation was shared on This Morning's official Instagram page on Friday afternoon, as show bosses said: "@josiegibson85’s got some really good news to share… [cry-laughing emoji]".

Fans were clearly loving the interaction, judging by their responses in the post's comments section. Sylvia said: "Love Josie and Alison absolutely brilliant" and Sharon said: "This is just hilarious".

Margaret said: "Just made my Friday, so special that you are great at presenting. Amazing part is you're happy friends too". Carol said: "Loved today's programme. These two should be on more together."

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and ITVX
