The Most Exclusive Website Only Allows One Visitor At a Time

A web developer has created what is possibly the most pointless website on the entire internet, allowing just one visitor at a time.

Created by web developer Justin Foley, MostExclusiveWebsite.com not only allows just one visitor at a time, but they’re also limited to just 60 seconds per visit.

To access the website, web users must take click a button on the no-frills web page to take a ‘ticket’ and wait in line. Ticket numbers have already gone past 160,000.

A message on the website shows how many cumulative minutes users have ‘spent waiting to be exclusive’.

There’s no reminder to tell users when it’s their turn in the queue, so an estimated 8 out of 9 of the people waiting actually end up missing their spot.

Foley told The Washington Post: “It just sort of came to me. The Internet was designed to be open and accessible; what if I made a website that was the antithesis of one of the defining qualities of the Internet?”.

The site was first launched in March, but has since gained internet fame after appearing on Reddit.

Foley has remained secretive on what visitors to the site actually get to see, but clues on Reddit suggest pictures of an ‘internet-famous’ animal.

There’s only one way to know for sure.
