Most expensive homes for sale in Yorkshire from castles to sprawling estates

They can also be found all across Yorkshire, so there are properties in a number of different locations.

Here are some of the most expensive properties in Yorkshire, according to Rightmove.

Lowthorpe

Found in East Yorkshire, Lowthorpe is a six-bedroomed farm house which comes with 413 acres of arable farm land.

Four miles from Driffield, the farm is in and ideal location for anyone looking to take up the trade. However, it will set you back £4,000,000.

Rillington Manor

An Edwardian country manor found near Malton, Rillington Manor is a Grade II listed building. It features 77 acres of land, seven bedrooms and four bathrooms.

In addition, it comes with two cottages. It will cost you £4,500,000.

The Blomfield

A set of apartments, The Blomfield can be found in central Leeds, on The Headrow. This lot will allow you to buy 17 apartments, with 25 bedrooms between them.

This set of apartments will cost you £4,600,000.

Thorner Lane, Scarcroft

A Georgian manor house, found between Scarcroft and Thorner. Throner Lane has eight bedrooms and comes with 60 acres of ground.

It will set you back £5,950,000.

Whixley Hall

Another manor house, Whixley Hall in York dates back to the 17th century. It features seven bedrooms, 55 acres of gardens, grounds, woodlands and paddocks and an additional 41 acres of parkland south of the road.

This property costs £6,000,000.

Studley Park can be found near Ripon and was built in the Palladian style in the early 18th century. It has six bedrooms and is found near Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal.

It costs a total of £6,250,000.

Swathgill

The property contains four bedrooms and can be found near Thornton Le Street, Thirsk. It will cost you £9,750,000.
