'Most horrific of surgeries on panadol': Australian doctor recalls operating on Gaza child

Last month, Sydney surgeon Sanjay Adusumilli spent two weeks in Gaza treating countless Palestinians. He spoke to the Guardian's Full Story about a young boy with horrific injuries from a bomb blast who passed away after surgery. 'This young kid is there with his abdomen open ... having gone through the most horrific of surgeries on simple panadol,' Adusumilli says. 'That child passed away later that night.
