Whether you're searching for your next home in your local area, or just browsing to see what's on the market across the UK, millions of people turn to Rightmove each month for their latest property fix.

As the UK's largest online property site, Rightmove is renowned for its huge offering of homes, from bargain houses going to auction to flats and apartments you can rent and, of course, those multi-million pound mansions.

It's no surprise that the latter is often the most visited on the site, with people eager to snoop inside the latest dream homes that have been put up for sale across the country.

The latest data from Rightmove has now revealed which of its listings were viewed the most times by its users in April. With price tags starting from £1 million up to £5 million, these properties vary from a contemporary 'floating' house to a 16th century nine-bed mansion.

Tim Bannister, Rightmove’s property expert, said: “From newly designed homes filled with futuristic design features, to listed period houses filled with centuries of history, this month’s most-viewed homes are as impressive as they are eclectic.”

1. Floating house, Glasgow - £1.3m

This unique 'floating' house was the most-viewed home on Rightmove in April. The dynamic house was designed by an architect and was shortlisted as one of Scotland's 'Homes of the Year'.

Found in a tranquil suburb of Glasgow, its four-storey design with tiered outdoor spaces allows for stunning views directly over Cathcart Castle Golf Course. Offsetting the surrounding greenery, the modern five-bed house is filled with bespoke, high-end design features, including a sauna and spa, teppanyaki hob and underfloor heating.

This beautifully converted former vicarage, which sits in the heart of a quaint village on the Cornish coast, was one of Rightmove's most popular homes of the month.

Encircled by an idyllic walled garden, the six-bed property has been restored in recent years, with the buildings surrounding the main house having been converted to create two independent cottages.

Inside, the spacious period home has towering sash windows which flood the living space with natural light. Outside, the manicured gardens span more than 1.5 acres. There is also a studio that comes with the property, with planning consent to be used as a holiday accommodation.

3. Arts and Crafts house, Derby - £1m

This grand Arts & Crafts house was amongst the most-viewed homes on Rightmove in April. With its large landscaped grounds, the huge property boasts a rich history, and was formerly owned by the Coke family.

The house dates back to the 16th century, with the main house comprising nine bedrooms plus a separate stone summer house. The gardens feature a stone terrace, ornamental pool and courtyard.

Lots of original features remain intact, including an oak staircase, marble mantelpieces, and ornate moulded ceilings

The historic property is on the market for £1,000,000.

4. Mock-Tudor house, London - £5.7m

Built in 2018, this gorgeous Mock-Tudor style home attracted attention from Rightmove users last month. Set on 1.67 acres of land, the Architect-designed home has a beautiful interior design with Art Deco vibes combined with avant-garde shapes.
