Windsor police say one person is dead following a Sunday night collision in Windsor, Ont.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. ET on Dougall Avenue near the E.C. Row Expressway.

According to authorities, a vehicle turning left onto the expressway from Dougall Avenue collided with a motorcycle in the oncoming lane.

The 19-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash — or has video footage of it — to contact them as soon as possible.

No word if charges are expected to be laid.
