Motorcyclist killed in crash that closed Kent A2 near Dartford for hours

A motorcyclist has died after a serious accident that closed the Kent A2 near Dartford for a number of hours.

Kent Police officers are now appealing for dashcam footage and for witnesses to come forward after the crash on the London bound carriageway of the A2 just before the junction for Dartford Heath at around 8.08am on Friday (May 10).

The incident involved a grey BMW motorcycle and a black Kawasaki motorcycle. Police and ambulance crews attended, and a man aged in his 30s was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

A second man was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries.
