Millions of Britons have a new MP after over 300 constituencies changed hands during the General Election. Labour swept into power as the Tories suffered the worst results in their history, giving Sir Keir Starmer the keys to 10 Downing Street.

The political landscape of the UK was completely transformed overnight with the Lib-Dems also making huge gains, and Reform and the Green Party winning seats. Meanwhile, the SNP lost dozens of MPs in Scotland.

While 300 constituencies changed hands, over 100 former MPs decided to stand down before the election, meaning millions of people have a new MP.

Locally Labour defended all three Coventry seats but there have been huge changes across Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
