Battersea Dogs and Cats Home found homes for 3,529 animals in 2023.

However, the charity faces daily challenges that impact the welfare of the animals in their care and prospective pet owners.

Their work goes beyond their three centres, sharing knowledge, providing training and funding to global rescue partners, offering online pet advice, and campaigning for improved animal welfare.

Mims Davies MP recently visited Battersea, meeting with the team to discuss issues such as "unscrupulous breeding practices, renter's rights to own pets, and safety around dogs."
