Mrs Brown to appear in Tyler Perry's latest Madea film in crossover
Mrs Brown is heading across the pond for one of Tyler Perry’s Madea movies.
The Mrs Brown’s Boys character – who is played by Brendan O’Carroll – will be in A Madea Homecoming, the latest in a long line of movies about actor and filmmaker Perry’s Mabel "Madea" Earlene Simmons character.

In one, Madea is holding up the Irish matriarch by her shawl. And in another, they are standing alongside each other and appear to be watching a sports game.
O’Carroll told The Sun that “sparks were flying” when the pair were filming.
He said: “Tyler is a fantastic writer and performer. We are exploring what a movie would look like with both Mrs Brown and Madea and we are laughing a lot.”
Perry said the idea of the crossover had him “beyond excited”.
Mrs Brown's Boys aired for three series from 2011 until 2013 and since then has continued for Christmas specials.
The sitcom also spawned a spin-off chat show called All Round To Mrs Brown’s and feature film Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie.
A Madea Homecoming is due out on Netflix next month.
The synopsis for the film says: “Madea's back - hallelujer!
"And she's not putting up with any nonsense as family drama erupts at her great-grandson's college graduation celebration.”
