'Much Needed' Rain Floods Intersection in East Texas

Cars plowed through floodwaters in Odessa, Texas, on Saturday, April 20, as several inches of rain fell in the area.

Footage recorded by Ben Hustling shows a flooded Odessa intersection on Saturday.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Midland, Texas, had issued a flash flood warning for Big Spring, near Odessa, on this date.

The NWS said “much needed” rainfall hit the Permian Basin on Saturday.
