Multiple Coventry drivers caught breaking speed limit on suburban street

A number of drivers have been caught breaking the speed limit on a suburban street in Coventry. Nearly 30 drivers were caught in one day on the 30mph stretch of road.

One driver was caught travelling at 46mph. South Coventry Police carried out the checks after complaints about speeding cars were raised.

The speed camera crackdown was carried out on Broad Lane. Now officers are warning other drivers: 'watch your speed'

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the said: "Local officers along with residents have completed a Community Speedwatch on Broad Lane today due to concerns raised about speeding vehicles. 28 vehicles over 30mph. Highest was 46mph."
