My Mum, Your Dad announces finale change in schedule shake-up

My Mum, Your Dad's final episode will be available to watch one day earlier than initially planned.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the ITV reality show's finale had been pushed back from 9pm to 10pm on Friday, September 22 to avoid a clash with the UEFA Women's Nations League.

However, host Davina McCall has now revealed that viewers will be treated to a double bill tonight (September 21), as the final instalment will be available to watch on ITVX at 10pm, straight after the penultimate episode airs.

"Straight after tonight's (Thursday’s) episode, the final will go straight on @ITVX !! So u can watch two in a row !! Or u can also watch it Friday at 10pm on ITV1 if u prefer".

My Mum, Your Dad follows a group of single parents looking to find their match in an idyllic country retreat.

What they don't know is that their children have been watching their every move and making all their romantic decisions – a twist they'll finally discover in the finale.

Ahead of the show's premiere earlier this month, Davina admitted that it was "hard" to watch at times.

"It’s quite hard sometimes to watch, but the kids are really impressive," she explained, adding that they "make their parents so proud".

Davina, who is also a judge on The Masked Singer, continued: "Yes, there are moments where kids have cushions in front of their faces. But it could be over something quite small and intimate, because they’ve never seen their parents in a date situation."

My Mum, Your Dad airs on weekdays on ITV1.
