Nadine Coyle has pulled out of her performance at a festival this weekend due to "exhaustion."

The Girls Aloud singer was on the line-up to perform at Kubix Festival in Sunderland this weekend, however, festival organisers have now announced Coyle will no longer be attending.

In a post on social media, the festival said: "Unfortunately Nadine Coyle is no longer able to play Kubix due to exhaustion but we hope she gets plenty of rest and will inviting her back to a future Festival!"

Nadine Coyle has just finished touring across the UK and Ireland for a reunion with her Girls Aloud bandmates. The sell-out tour consisted of 30 shows, staring in Dublin on May 17 before wrapping up in Liverpool on June 30.

The tour was the group's first since 2013, and their first following the death of Sarah Harding in 2021. Girls Aloud dedicated their tour to the 39-year-old, saying they promised to celebrate her life and get back together.

As the tour came to an emotional end on June 30, Nadine was overcome with emotion during their performance of I'll Stand By You in Liverpool. The quartet informed the audience that they would be singing alongside Sarah from a previously unreleased recording of the song, which featured only Harding.

As the song continued, Derry-born Nadine was seen wiping her tears away as she started crying while trying to continue the performance. With a video of Sarah playing behind the four girls, Nadine turned to face her friend before she sought comfort from her bandmates.
