Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle has revealed she didn’t spend time with the rest of the band because she was always out partying.

The Sound Of The Underground girlband formed on Popstars The Rivals in 2002 and split in 2013. Coyle has previously admitted she has not stayed in contact with bandmates Sarah Harding, Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts amid rumours of a feud.

Coyle, 34, told Kate Garraway on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!: "Everyone gets on with their lives. I mean I was friends with them all, it was fine. It was all nice and lovely and subtle.

"But I was always in the gay bars with all the guys, I would be out partying, me and ten guys would be out partying, making the most of it. I was 18, 19-years-old, I would be going wild. [I’d go to bed] at 8am or 9am in the morning!”

Asked if life in a girlband was fun Coyle replied: “It’s a lot of work,” before adding, “ But it is so, so much fun.”

The Northern Irish singer - who has a five-year-old daughter Anaiya with American footballer Jason Bell - previously admitted she hadn’t spoken to the rest of her bandmates - with the exception of Harding - for six years.

She said: “I spoke to Sarah around the time of [2017 Celebrity] Big Brother but I haven’t seen or spoken to them since the end of Girls Aloud or just before I had my daughter... So that’s about six years ago.

“Sarah more recently at the start of Big Brother when she was very excited, but yeah I haven’t spoken to or seen any of them in about that long.”

Speaking on Celebrity Juice last year, she said: “There was no fallout, no.

“There was just no friendship to begin with.”
