National Guard Fight Camp Fire, Collect Water From Icy Pond

California’s Camp Fire, which had left 77 people dead and more than 10,000 homes destroyed, was 65 percent contained by November 18, firefighters reported.

The wildfire, which broke out on November 8, had spread to 150,000 acres in Butte County by November 18; however, firefighters reported good progress in its containment.
