Naughty Boy has been left feeling like an “outsider” in the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ camp after arguing with Frankie Bridge over beans.

The 36-year-old music producer spent the first few days of the ITV reality series in the Castle Clink alongside four of his other campmates before they all joined the five stars in the main camp during Wednesday’s (24.11.21) episode.

But it seems that tensions between the two groups are still high, as on Thursday (25.11.21), Naughty Boy clashed with Frankie Bridge – who has been in the main camp since the start of the show – after a poor choice of words left Naughty Boy feeling singled out.

The argument started when the producer was unhappy with how his rice and beans had been cooked, as he said: “I’m quite passionate about cooking and maybe this isn’t the place to be passionate about cooking. I don’t want to be the one who says it, I’m just being real, it’s not rice.

“If we’re having rice and beans, people would prefer to have rice and beans, not rice pudding and beans. I don’t know if I’m going crazy or overthinking.”

But when discussing the cooking issue with Frankie, The Saturdays singer upset Naughty Boy when she said: “You’re just coming into our camp and this was just what we did…”

While Frankie, 32, was only trying to tell the ‘Runnin’ hitmaker how they’d cooked rice before the other camp had joined them, Naughty Boy took offense to her phrasing, as it made the Castle Clink campmates seem like outsiders.

He said: “No, this is our camp. That’s wrong what you just said. It’s not your camp.

“Don’t say things like you came to ‘our’ camp.”

Frankie eventually walked away from the confrontation, and was visibly upset when she spoke to Paralympian Kadeena Cox about what had happened.

She said: “Why can no one talk about rice in here? I can’t deal with it.

“I’d rather not have rice at this point. I just hate any confrontation. Now I’m like, ‘Oh my god, did I say something bad?’ Now I’ve offended him … why am I talking about rice. I’m someone who avoids confrontation at all costs. I just hate it. I don’t understand what the issue is.”

And in the Bush Telegraph, Naughty Boy added: “Shall we just say this is like a teething period? It just made me think, maybe we are the outsiders who have now come in.”

Elsewhere in the episode, new arrivals Simon Gregson and Adam Woodyatt joined the camp and were made the new Lords of the Castle.

They took part in the Castle Scare Fair trial to win stars for their campmates, and managed to bag a total of 11 out of 12, meaning the camp were treated to quail for dinner.
