NCIS star Daniela Ruah marks milestone with sweet kids photo
NCIS star Daniela Ruah has marked a milestone for her two children in a sweet Instagram post.
The actress, known for the role of NCIS Special Agent Kensi Blye in NCIS: Los Angeles, documented the first day of school of her two children, River Isaac and Sierra Esther, in a cute snap.
In the image, both River and Sierra are holding their own small blackboards, which read "First Day of 2nd Grade" and "First Day of 4th Grade" respectively.

"Here we go kiddos!!! 2nd and 4th grade and a brand new hair cut for River (thank you dude for trusting me with sheers) LET'S DO THIS," Ruah wrote in the caption, revealing she's the artist behind her eldest's haircut.
The actress shares her two kids with David Olsen, the older brother and stunt double of Ruah's NCIS: Los Angeles co-star Eric Christian Olsen. The couple have been married since 2014 and welcomed River and Esther in 2013 and 2016.

Last month, The Traitors Portugal host had a crossover reunion with other stars in the expanded NCIS multiverse, including NCIS: Hawai'i's Vanessa Lachey and NCIS: New Orleans' Scott Bakula and CCH Pounder.
The stars of the procedural franchise took to the picket lines amid the ongoing actors' strike, seeing members of the SAG-AFTRA union protesting after contractual negotiations with the studios proved unfruitful.
"Today was strong and necessary," Ruah wrote on Instagram at the time.
"To all the @iatse & @dga members and supporters of @wgastrikeunite& @sagaftra I am so grateful to have walked alongside all of you today. Saw so many people I have loved for over 14 years coming together again in strength."
