Neighbours has launched a new mystery storyline with the arrival of Freya Wozniak in Erinsborough.
Freya made her first appearance in Thursday's episode on Channel 5, intriguing Levi Canning (Richie Morris) with some strange behaviour.
Following the storm disaster that destroyed the Flamingo Bar, Freya caught Levi's eye as she crossed some police tape and surveyed the damage.
Levi ordered Freya to come straight out in order to preserve the scene, which is still under investigation.
Later, defiant Freya reappeared at the scene and crossed the police tape for a second time.
Freya appeared to be looking for something and retrieved a scarf from the debris.
Levi spotted Freya breaking the rules again and gave chase as she ran away, ultimately catching up with her elsewhere in the Lassiters complex.
Although Freya stood up for herself when questioned by Levi, she was forced to give the scarf back when he pointed out that withholding potential evidence was a criminal offence.
Freya denied being at the Flamingo Bar on the night of the tragedy, lying that she must have left the scarf behind the first time she was snooping.
However, when Levi offered to get the scarf back to her following the investigation, Freya declined to give him her name or contact details.
Late last year, Neighbours bosses announced that Freya – played by Lie With Me actress Phoebe Roberts – is a new regular character for the show.
Freya is billed as "the ultimate mystery girl", who'll be part of a big storyline this year.
Phoebe commented: "I am so thrilled to be joining the Ramsay Street family. Neighbours is such a huge part of the Australian film and TV industry, it's very exciting to be involved in something so iconic that is also so loved in the UK.
"As a kid, I tuned in to watch all the drama of Erinsborough unfold, it's surreal to now be a part of that drama!"
Neighbours' executive producer Jason Herbison added: "We've created a fascinating character for [Phoebe] that is complex, mysterious and a risk taker, she's going to be a lot of fun and Phoebe has already nailed the role."
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
